The Beilstein Database
Based on Beilstein's Handbuch der organischen Chemie, the Beilstein
Database covers organic chemistry from 1771 to date. The 2008/01 release
(made available in March 2008) contains over 10.3 million structures, 10.6
million reactions (making it the world's largest reactions database), 2.1 million citations and 320 million property records.
The Beilstein Database also contains over 900,000 original
author abstracts from 1980-present, and the EcoPharm database containing details of bioactive compounds.
